Max-Taut-School

The school buildings with the Max-Taut Auditorium at Fischerstraße are an architectural gem of the former largest school complex in Germany. The building complex was designed by the architect Max Taut (1884 – 1967) and built from 1929 to 1932.

The rebuilding efforts and the reconstruction of the large auditorium in accordance with conservation practices lasted from 2002 to 2007 and has created an attractive venue.

Today, the Max-Taut School is home to a College of Further Education.
